Yeah, Jennifer Hudson won for Best … er… Supporting Actress in a Leading Role. Take that, American Idol!
The Anglophiles strike again. An English actress won Best Actress for playing an English Queen mourning the death of an English Princess. Tell me again -- who won the War of 1776?
Advice to Eddie Murphy: To win an Oscar, move to Hollywood, schmoose with the in-crowd and play another role as magnificently as you played James "Thunder" Early. On second thought, skip the last step, just concentrate on the first two. Any reasonable role will do.
